There was a time when I would have said stocks hold the intrinsic value WC suggested above, but that time has long passed us. Companies are no longer traded on fundamentals but on feeling and mojo and potential. Nobody is going to come in here and say $TSLA is a trillion dollar company, intrinsically.
We're beyond the idea of investments being able to fall back on real value. Well beyond.

No argument there. I certainly don't believe sports cards are the only bubble in America. We're seeing what happens when trillions of dollars get added to an already debt-fueled economy.
