Mitchell is one of my guys as well and I love watching him and the Jazz play, but the Pelicans need wins infinitely more than Utah right now.

On a card side note: Zion may end up with the biggest offseason buying frenzy since Luka.

They took down the...Jazz?

Clutch the pearls. I'll never understand this team, but I luvit.

Love it! Just got a chance to watch through the game early this morning as I started my work day and couldn't believe they snuck out of there with a win. Really looked like they were going to cough it up at the end, but nice to see Zion clutch out a couple free throws at the end to bury them.

26/10 against Gobert and the Jazz is fantastic. I try to not get too over-zealous of my fanhood to Zion, so I couldn't help but be a bit frustrated by some of his bad turnovers and quiet 4th quarter, but having a 20 year old put up that kind of game against the league's best is amazing.

Much like we discussed in last year's Zion thread, there are still times he looks very much like a rookie out there and makes some silly mistakes. But that almost makes me more excited knowing he's THIS good and still not close to a finished product.

Also, I have to give some big credit to Lonzo last night... Dude was amazing and has bounced back recently from some of his low points a few weeks ago. Last night was the version of Lonzo I wish we could get consistently, because it absolutely changes the team. That + the Zion/BI combo can absolutely cause problems for every team they face.
