But $230 is not cheap for a base chrome autograph...especially a Pirates player. In fact it is the most expensive chrome autograph from 2015 draft. Unless he becomes Acuna, Soto, Tatis good, I'd argue prices are going to fall.
Right now his prices are carrying a premium is for two reasons
1. Demand >>>> Supply
2. He hit .368 last year and is hitting .417 right now. The hype machine is in full effect. 97.5 times out of 100, the player does not live up to hype
Hayes will also have a ton of autographs in 2021 Topps sets. Right now his autographs selection is sparse.
I'm not sure what Andrew Mccutchen 2004 chromes sold for back in the day, but the refractor /125 9.5 10 just got $325. And that is his only 2004 autograph chrome card.
