I'm monitoring the Target baseball thread for the laughs. Multiple blowout members getting to Target at least an hour before opening and not even among the first 10 in line lol
I posted my experience about a guy almost being arrested in store when I walked away with 1 blaster in the chronicles thread. That was a year ago. It's only gotten crazier. Been physically threatened by a middle age mom with her two kids which gave me a good laugh (not sure how exactly she was planning to physically harm me), been lied to since by a store manager, etc. "We haven't stocked cards since the start of the pandemic months ago". Yo, I literally bought product here a week ago. That was the last time I even tried. Can't rely on minimum wage Walmart/Target employees to be honest and same for the potentially unemployed flippers. Same couple people on facebook flipping retail everytime that I can even name. No reason to even try anymore in a populated area like suburban NJ.
Cards really do make you lose faith in humanity. People stole my pokemon cards when I was a kid in elementary school. Now that I'm an adult, nothing has changed when it comes to cards. People just lie, cheat, and steal. Cardboard brings out the worst characters for some reason. While I think that's only a small percentage, unfortunately you almost have to assume everybody is lying and scamming you these days in this "hobby"
