I happen to agree that if the card on the front of the pack can be seen, you have no chance at a Jordan because any of the "Jordan sequence" packs would have been opened. However, the front card can't always be determined.

And while it's true you may not get your thousands out of a pack, no one gets skunked. You're going to get a Magic/Bird/Ewing/Thomas/Wilkins/Worthy/Malone/Dumars/Drexler or some combination. As packs go, 86 to 88 Fleer are a gold mine because they are such tiny sets.

It's not like buying a 1980 Topps baseball pack and trying to pull a Henderson. THAT is a waste of money.
