TBP pointed out that collectors just don’t like purple refractors regardless of brand (ie purple #’ed in chrome doesn’t sell well relative to other colours even though TC purple is #’ed)
I know as a brand chrome is more poplar than heritage but still curious on discrepancies

Purple has the largest print run of the numbered parallels in TC so it should sell for less. It does however sell for more than all of the non-numbered parallels and should as well. The last PSA 9 sold for $336 which is more than any other non-numbered parallel would sell for with equal grade. I personally think it’s a great looking parallel and a cheap alternative for those that want a numbered card and can’t afford the Blue.
