I often see US guys refer to NT RPA's /99 as the 'True' Rookie? Even on this board.
I don't get that myself, as what's to say it has to be NT for example.
I do subscribe to the US any from the first season though, as that just makes things easier, for me anyway.
But as before, the term 'true' to me, just seems to have been a way to say 'first'. The real question then is when we as collectors are hypocritical and say 'well, first, but not thaaaaat' for example when referencing MA or other items. Even more confusing when we go back and have 'trade cards' which we don't really get now. Whatever happened to getting a card with our cereal and tea bags anyway?
