For those wondering, HGA doesn't use the exact same scale as BGS.

They allow the overall grade to be 1.0 point above the lowest subgrade (2.0 above if overall grade is lower than a 5 I believe)
If a card has 2 lower subgrades (8.5s) but the rest of the subgrades bump the average above that subgrade (9.0), the overall grade will be the average, not lowest subgrade like BGS.
