Erm, you have no idea what athletes have in their blood unless something illegal is found. Fighters, especially back then had all sorts of #@#@#@#@ going through them.
When something gets added to the illegal list, you move on to something else. If a substance is found that isn't yet on a restricted list, nobody ever finds out.
