Even if we throw in two bad losses, let's say @Vegas or @Denver, and with them losing the toss-up games (GB & Dal), and losing again to LAC, that's 10-7.
I don't really see that as "optimistic" - they'll be favored in all the games I have them marked as winning (barring injuries), and could be favored against Dallas and GB.

I'm all about being optimistic (I definitely needed it yesterday!), but dude, the NFL is not that easy. The Chiefs have SERIOUS concerns that have nothing to do with Mahomes - there is no one guy who can make everything okay. And he hasn't played great against their toughest matchups this year, either. Just chalking up two wins against the Raiders and Denver, plus the Titans, Steelers, and Bengals? I'm not seeing it. Depending on how WFT's defense plays on Sunday, that may be a tough game.
Year in, year out, the NFL is TOUGH.
