100% agree, assuming the NBA legitimately tests for it. But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if the NBA quietly loosens protocol for the 2-week period following Christmas and/or New Year's to combat it. After all, it's a business, and if it don't make dollars, it don't make sense (to the NBA).
I don't think we'll ever return to a "bubble scenario" and I don't see a very stern warning having much of an impact either. At this point, it's really about personal responsibility and maturity. Some players will remain cautious during the holidays, thinking about the collective whole. Others will engage in "reckless" behavior, thinking about their own selves. As long as you have the latter, it doesn't really matter what the former does (slightly exaggerated but you know what I mean, there's still some things that the former can do but a lot will get off-set).

replace "NBA" with "Murica" and it's basically the same thing.
1600+ Americans died yesterday. Cases are up about 30% from 3 weeks ago and are steadily climbing. Cases are a leading indicator for hospitalizations which are a leading indicator for deaths. But who cares, as long as I can... wait, what are we not already doing that we need to free up?
