It does just say materials was presented to the player during the hall of fame induction or ceremony.
All the players patches look the exactly the same of these cards made of them,
I tried winning 2 Alonzo Mourning's on Ebay of these same looking special edition cards in the last 2-3 months.
It looks like a jacket given to them to wear for the event,
If they wore it or not is a different story.
