I posted this card on instagram a couple of days ago:

1998-99 Bowman's Best - Autographs: A1 Kobe Bryant

I spent quite a bit of time on this release when it first landed. I opened a couple of boxes and and in addition to putting together the base set, I decided to chase down a number of inserts. My records show that I pulled the Michael Doleac version of this card from a box and then slowly added another seven of the eight cards available from the 'Autograph' insert set over the following decade. Tim Duncan is still a want!

I am fortunate enough to own a handful of Kobe on-card auto cards; but this was my first. Consequently, it is a card I treasure more than most.
