HM, Kevin Alcantara-He started out much closer to the top of the list, but at some point his market turned and I started selling cards like crazy. I'm only down $11 overall here, with plenty of inventory still to go. I got a long distance look at him during Spring Training and he's still raw, but that's OK given his age and size. Why He's A Target: My prospect list. 2023 Projection: Low minors. What I'm Hoping For: That I sell at least $20 worth of cards between now and the Futures Game.

HM, Mark Vientos-Another huge projection from a prospect. In this case there is and never was a path to playing time. I don't really want a trade either because the loss of market would offset the extra PT. I didn't go bonkers here, but I do have a BCA Blue /150, plenty of other BCA, and smattering of other stuff. HM, Anthony Santander-Man, talk about a guy that's low volume. I got a high percentage of the stuff that came up for auction, but it just wasn't very much. My best card is a BCA Blue /150, but my favorite might be the 2018 Mother's Day /50. He's down the line in terms of star potential for the Orioles...but he's also been batting in the 3 and 4 hole. That could easily lead to a 100 RBI season if he's healthy. Why He's A Target: Secret Sauce Projection. 2023 Projection: .245/29/89/2. What I'm Hoping For: Another 30+ HR season with 100+ RBI.

HM, Rayne Doncon-I don't really have enough inventory or spending for him to be on the list, but this is the only place he fits. I'll be continuing to add unless he gets off to a scorching hot start. When I looked back at my favorite AZL in person looks over the years, it's pretty much 50/50 whether they become a star or a bust. Doncon holds that distinction from 2022, so I'm going to bet on it.
