The hitting image of Ohtani is the first time I can recall an RD card garnering any noticeable interest on its own.
So I get the disdain for a 2nd RC (even thought the RC logo is on every topps card once their RC designated year including inserts). But I would think getting a card with a genuine photo from their rookie debut (not a photoshoped RC card) would actually be a desirable thing. That was my biggest point. You know the photo is from the players actual debut.
