PSA upcharged me on an Ohtani today.

As always, there was no comp or recent sale, but they cherry picked a sale from over a year ago and extrapolated assumptions. I got on the phone with a supervisor and they of course conveniently disregarded every data point I had. I pushed back a bit more and the guy offered to not upcharge me if I sold the card to him for $10K. I was appalled and told him that was inappropriate and gave him the opportunity to walk it back. He doubled down and stated that he is allowed to buy/sell his own collection. I pointed out that it was 10am and that is very inappropriate to do so on company time in the middle of a hostage-like upcharge situation, using the upcharge fee as leverage. I got his Manager's phone number and filed a complaint.

Just unbelievable. I didn't even care about the upcharge by the end of the ordeal.
