Laughable. The Pac died because the B1G killed them by taking the LA market and then coming back for two other top brands. Once USC and UCLA left then it was game over. Everyone left was hoping to get a B1G invite, someday.
When Texas and OU left the Big 12 nobody that remained received any interest from any other conference. Nobody wanted Kansas, TCU or Texas Tech… They also benefitted from location. Good markets and good replacement options from the AAC. Which teams were available to the PAC? San Diego St, Fresno or Boise? That just wasnt going to cut it.
