I just like to think about this stuff as Ohtani is continually trying to KEEP doing these amazing things within the game we love and revere so much. I wonder if he tinkers and focuses on pitching at times when he feels the need and that's detrimental to his hitting regimen and vis versa as well.

I've been off and on thinking of posting, but at some point in his career, does Ohtani give up pitching?

I feel he will always be able to hit relatively well, maybe not MVP numbers when he's in the mid to late 30's.

But pitching....will he still be able to keep up with pitching and hitting as he ages? I don't really know, I feel it will be more difficult to keep up with pitching, he loses some command/velocity, however he could still be a mid rotation guy instead of ace like he is now.
