Agree -- why buy 1 card for $2,500?
That's a nice 1-2 year card budget in itself.
I'm not even sure there's one card I'd like for that price so much as 5-10 cards between $100-$500 each.
A dusty, low-end copy of Howe or Gretz vs. a nice auto on a modern card with great photography is an easy choice for me.
