We had a pseudo school reunion.
The back story is the school was started in the Hyde Park section in Boston because the parents didn't want to send their precious little cherubs into the brown areas of Boston after forced bussing started.
SO 10 years ago, right about this time, my wifes friend had a "reunion" here near the Patriots stadium. She ran it because she lives in the Pacific North west and would be here.
Funny story- this woman (Ali) who was my wifes best friend and in our wedding. When my wife told (ALi) that we were dating Ali told her that I took her to her prom. I have ZERO recollection of that night. Now I HAD agreed to take another of my wife's friends (Jackie) to the prom as she didn't have a BF at the time. Well she started dating someone and Ali says that I told her "Well I have a tux want to go together?" Still have no memory of that night.
Back to "Reunion". It was nice seeing the people that I liked. Talked to a lot of people. The people who wanted nothing to do with me back then I didn't talk to at the reunion.
One woman, who owns some sort of eatery and is a wanna be reality person tried to friend everyone on FB to pimp out her different pages.
I told her that you didn't even know my 1st name in school so no I will not be your friend you pompous tw*t.
