As a Philadelphia fan, I agree.

I think the current playoff model is absurd, with three wild cards. I preferred the three division winners, and one wild card team. That's probably not going to change.

But at the very least, they should give the team who has the best record after grinding out 162 games the lowest seed team to play against.

What they are doing makes no sense. And from the other perspective, the Phils, who were the top Wild Card team, why should they have to play the #1 seed in the National League and the lesser wild card team play the #2 National League seed?
