I wouldn't say it was their worst performance (that was probably the Green Bay game). Being down 4 points when your team was at a massive deficit of T.O.P. and plays run in the first half was a sign that they weren't going to get knocked out of the game. Buffalo was doing their damndest to play keep away and it stopped working once KC zipped down the field for Kelce's TD catches on the two meaningful drives around half time.
Bowing up to allow 7 points in the 2nd half is huge. Especially when they got no sacks and precious few pressures. Once they figured out when to run blitz or which way to slant the DL, Linebackers were able to make plays on Cook.
