Eh...'rookies' in nonsports in general. More than anything else, it's about the hobby trying to designate one card of that person so it can soar in price...that about sums it up in a sentence.
They actually don’t show her that much during the Chiefs games. What you’re reading about is disproportionate to what you see on TV.

As for Billie Holiday, it would have been interesting to see what a, say, 1950 card of hers had gone for in 1951 if ebay and the internet existed then. I would say Doris Day would have been a better comparison to Taylor than Billie. She was the top selling female artist for years, I think until Madonna came along.

My feelings about “rookie” cards for nonsports - meh. Not really a thing.
