I put the submission ID on the outside of the box with the cards in it but then put that inside a padded envelope bubble mailer. This may have contributed to delays but Nationals and summer holidays seem to be contributing as well.

I called PSA at the 9 business day mark, 18 July, to check status. They told me they were backlogged because of Nationals and that they were currently processing orders from 25 June, a 24 day backlog. I called again on 30 July and they were processing orders as of 2 July. So as of 30 July their backlog was worse, 28 days.

Since my 7 July delivered order processed on 6 August I guess that would put them at about 30 days behind. Worse than last week but not by a lot. Makes me think it will normalize and they'll start catching up.

The email notification for Research and ID was interesting since it came in after normal business hours, 8PM. Maybe they are working extended hours during the week to catch up.

Just about a week between ID and Grading. Seems normal.

I haven't bothered to call again to check on backlog status since my order seems to be moving along nicely now. But I am interested if anybody has a current status for that. Just good to know since I know other people who may be submitting soon.
