What does that do to a company and its rep if some $500k goes into a book like this for it not to be fullfilled (the main part at least)? At the very minimum probably ends the possible future projects prospects I would think. Yea Kickstarter offers no guarantees and it’s a total risk…but seems like a good way to totally plummet a reputation with a project gone bad. I’m not convinced we’re to that point…we do differ in our opinion of what’s going on. You seem to think the books aren’t coming period, I think they are just that honest updates and timeframes don’t seem to matter.

I mean, if they're blatantly lying like this even though they know the books will eventually ship, that's craziness. They're making a bad situation worse.
Everything tells me this book is in limbo, if not dead, and FPG doesn't have any real updates to give backers, and do not want to reveal the truth about the situation.
If it eventually ships, I feel like it'll be way past the point of caring.
