 Correct.
This is because paper cards use "offset printing" where the ink is applied to the plate, then transferred from the plate to a rubber roller (reversing the image), then from the roller to the blank paper (reversing it again).
With chrome stock, the ink is transferred directly from the plate to the card stock, so it only gets reversed once.
