At one of the big shows a couple of years ago, one of their guys told me the 90 days is actually rom the time the first card from that set hits the site. I'm assuming that it's maybe something automated on the backend that calculates Fresh Pulls on the site and maybe that's why? Anyways, that could give you a few extra days to get in under the deadline for Fresh Pulls, even if you can't tell when exactly that would be.
