I also pc my favorite players to watch, and that just hasn’t been Ohtani yet. Just like there are 90s basketball collectors who don’t go after Jordan but still love the era.
With that being said, I am also concerned about injury and I do think as time passes his production will slow a bit. One of these events may have his cards trend down slightly. If that happens then I will go after a bigger Ohtani. There is also a chance he wins three more mvps and three more championships and I miss the boat, and that’s okay because I love the cards of the players I collect.
