You don't celebrate a defensive stand right away anymore, you're looking for a flag. Back then you celebrated right away.

These bail out calls just feel so cheap. And if I see it and many people, pros, fans, coaches and commentators are saying it, to me that actually hurts Mahomes legacy. Say he does end up with more rings than Brady, he becomes kind of a Bill Russell type because of the cheap calls and the crappy competition (Not saying Russell had cheap calls and bad competition) and Brady is the Jordan. They may very well be the narrative. Still a win for Mahomies and Russell is an all time great but it's a narrative less than what they would want i'm sure.

I'm on record for my thoughts on Mahome's future accomplishments. A viewpoint not shared by anybody else that I could recall. It's that he' going to win super bowl after super bowl after super bowl with the league's help and the soft qb competition, lack of actual field generals at qb in the league. That's why I bought a great collection of Mahome's cards. I see the writing on the wall. But truth be told my assertions are an indictment on the poor state the NFL is in today not because of his actual greatness per se.
Eyeroll.

There's literal data that proves your theory wrong.
