There are only about 10 or 20 guys (active) in NFL who are worth grading.
You can always grade them later once (if) they have ProBowls, playoff wins, stay healthy, All Pro, HOF candidate, etc.

With the cost of grading, unless you think yourself a "flipper," it just doesn't make sense to be grading rookies, young guys, guys who've done little so far. There are a ton of injuries in football... and even more flops, bad team situations. Think of the people sitting on piles of graded Trey Lance or even Rashee Rice or Trevor Lawrence cards... total waste of money. Those guys will never have much value.

...As to grading company, PSA will add the most value but costs the most. BGS will add some value, good info with subgrades, best looking and thick sturdy slabs. I do most of mine BGS as I like the info. All of the other grading companies are a waste imo... no real value added.
Thank you for the advice. Been doing this a long time mainly with vintage stuff - high grade Mantle’s, Aaron, Bench, Mays, Ryan’s… busted some Prizm football and Bowman draft and got lucky with some big rookies and autos which I am going to grade and flip to create $$ for vintage. Cheaper ones going to SGC this weekend since I can grade them for $12-15 each, and cards that are $200+ going to BGS. I like the subs on BGS as well.
