And now there is a cottage industry of middle-aged dudes she literally gave their childhood to making endless crybaby videos about her movies from the past few years to fish in online gawkers who can't stand it that movies now feature heroes that don't always look exactly like them.
These guys should be on their knees thanking her a second time for all of their "content" she's inspired with her later work after thanking her genuinely the first time for the fantastic material she was instrumental in providing them in the 80's, the 90's ("Jurassic Park", "Twister", "The Sixth Sense"), and beyond.
She's 71 years old, and highly accomplished. She deserves a rest from all that useless noise.
Congratulations, Kathleen Kennedy. Enjoy your retirement.

She was a producer on those movies which isn't a creative role, it's management. She definitely didn't have input on those movies working with Speilberg. She has been president of Lucasfilms since Disney acquired them and in that role she has final say on everything they produce. She had a great career by being lucky enough to ride the coat tails of some of the greatest filmmakers of all time. I'm sure she was competent at her jobs but there are hundreds of competent producers in Hollywood. Her legacy is being the head of Lucasfilms. I hate most of what she did there but obviously there are people (generally younger generation with no attachment to the orginals) that like those movies/series.
