Even before the draft its hard to see how this team is going to be better than last year.

It sucks to pay Purdy, that they have to dump half the team. But if not, they could have just traded Purdy (which I am not so sure isn't on the table if the Steelers come a knocking offering too much to pass up)
I think 49ers fans (the majority) would revolt if Purdy got traded, but if they got back some kind of package that was too good to say no to maybe they do it. They already have a bunch of picks in the first 100 picks of the draft, and maybe they could add a few more. They would certainly get younger and cheaper, but then they are right back to where they started with the QB position.
T can't believe that the Steelers, Giants, or even the Titans wouldn't take Purdy if they could afford to make it happen, especially the Steelers that seem to think they are a QB away from a deep playoff run. Purdy would step in with 2 good weapons at WR certainly.
