It all depends on what you consider valuable: how many of this exact base card exist, yes easier. If you see a /49 parallel as basically a base card like some bizarre occurances of PRs of 300 then ... IMHO no, it's not valuable to have a PR of 297 and think there's only 297 of those cards ... There wasn't ... well, now there will be. My point is the lower the PR the more valuable the concept of PR is -- or at least it seems to me to be that way.

I seem to have made up the 1:20 ... perhaps conflating Throwback Thursday with the kanji variations they sometimes do for Ohtani, Ichiro, etc. Topps should really publish those odds on SP/SSP for sure.
