Topps does a lot of stupid things, but running this kind of promotion and then short printing the cards so much that they sell on eBay, social media, and card shows for more than they can be redeemed for is simply not going to happen. And if it somehow does (Narrator: "It won't."), that's great for the people that pull them.

Why would they for sure sell for under $100? If they are Short Printed and someone things they will for sure be Hall Of Famers...they may be willin to pay more than $100. There are also all kinds of SP rookie cards that regularly sell for more than $100 that don't have any buy back value.
