I get your frustration, but it’s still pretty easy to ignore the stuff I don’t like though. I think the current state of the hobby is much better than where it was during the COVID boom. I had a lot of fun building a Chourio PC over the last 8 months. Lots to choose from, and at a better price than from ‘20-22.

Collectors who want to build their collections are the real benefactors from the current state of things. Immense supply and a plethora of options to choose from. They get great looking cards for peanuts in many cases. Of course profiteers (flippers/breakers) too. The investing collector is the one who might not be as well off because they’re looking specifically for the cards that’ll increase in value.
