Thanks to a board member on Net54 (huge shout out to Peter F) I was tipped off to a local Michigan Auction at the end of July which featured several lots originating from the estate of Tommy Bridges, the main focus of my personal collection. The live auction was actually closing while I was on a flight back from the West coast, but I placed some strong early bids and my wife logged in and placed some live bids for me - so while I didn't clean sweep all the lots as I wanted, I did win many and was able to add hundreds of new items to my Tommy Bridges collection. I'm extremely happy to add hundreds of his personal photos, scrapbooks, effects, correspondence, and much more. Everything from his service related documents to his daughter's report cards.
