What does that have to do with anything? Sports cards is now a business first for 99% of people in the hobby. It's about making money. Watching and going to wrestling is about entertainment and hopefully when it's good emotional investment.

As I mentioned, I didn't like AEW. I loved it. There hasn't been 1 PPV within 5 hours of me. Yet I paid to go to 10 of them between 2021 and 2024. Plus most of the tv tapings near me.

Sports cards and AEW do have 1 thing in common. The average person buying into breaks and the average person that currently loves AEW anyway. They are some of the dumbest people on earth.

Would t you know it, there's 2 logical explanations laid out as to why it ended the way it did...

They were running short on time, and also the Missouri Pro Wrwstling Commission was alerted/warned about Darby potentially slicing his arm really bad late in the match and they didn't want it to get shut down

Now, I get being confused and it making no sense...

But why not, instead of going on a book length rant, take a breathe and wait for potential news as to what happened...and if that doesn't occur...then blast away..

What about the vast majority of what they have been doing for the last year? Any explanation for all that?

Lol running short on time. What a crock of bull! Gee maybe every match before your main event doesn't have to go an eternity. Maybe every PPV doesn't have to be 4 1/2 to 6 hours. But no that would just be too hard to accomplish.

If this commission thing was an issue they are dumber than a box of rocks for not knowing ahead of time. Don't book the match there then. Or maybe assume that it wouldn't be the first time in the history of wrestling PPVs in the US that someone from an athletic commission would stop a match.

It's pointless to argue with someone that is die hard AEW this is great everything is great crowd. It's why barely comment on this stuff online. I should completely stop. It's at a point where it's people arguing politics. If you are die hard on one side nothing will change your mind.

I don't have a side. I pay and will pay in the future for the wrestlers and the matches. I could care less what the company is. I like some things and don't like others in the main companies right now. I loved WWF, WWE and WCW when they were at their best. I loved TNA when they were at their best. I loved NXT Takeover era as much as anything from 2015-2019. I loved AEW. That's because at those points they had matchups, wrestlers, storylines, etc I was invested in.

Right now AEW is in the toilet. I have to watch as long as there are wrestlers and matchups I want to see. If they all leave, I can stop watching.
