Almost got his twice and if I hadn't reacted quickly we would have been totaled. Once in Providence near the 95 North and South exits from 195. F250 comes from my left into my lane. I swerved to the right while throwing the car onto a lower gear. If I hadn't he would have hit us.
#2 in Boosylvania as 2 roads merger and some clown in a tesla did the same thing. This time he starts to pull into my lane while he is right next to me. Of course he is looking at his phone.
Was gonna stop at the Boo compound because my wife had never seen an Amish family in person before. Though as luck would have it we did see some Amish families in Gatlinburg
The longest and shortest state drives were in FT's former and current states.
Spent less time in FT's former state than it takes him to have a Mission BBQ induced dump. Total on 22 minutes in the state combined coming and going.
Drove 700 plus miles coming and going in Virginia.
Stopped in Woodstock VA on the way down. About 5 miles before our exit we get stuck behind some moron from Vermont driving 50 MAX in the passing lane. 11% chance it was Glen. Leave in the AM and see JMU is about 10 miles south of us. Ups the % the driver the night before was Glen to 49.5%
Also realized they built the campus right off the highway because the average JMU student would not be able to find it if it were anywhere else.
When we got neat Gatlinburg the direction sent us a longer wat but saved us time because of all the lights and stops going through Pigeon Forge.
Passed a trailer park which was flying a Red Falg only. I saw a blue stripe coming from one corner with white stars. Though I couldn't testify in court that it was the Confederate Rebel Flag, were I to wager on if it was I would probably win my bet. Wonder how many of the residents complain about other types of flags being flown.
We stayed 2 blocks off the main street in Gatlinburg.
70 MPH Speed limits and cruise control are the best invention since Arby's
