As UPSbroker and I will attest, there is no algorithm for right turns only. That quote made me chuckle. I've been setting up and dispatching Browns for 7 years, 18 total at the company, so I think I would know. I also worked at the USPS for over a year. The amount of small package volume that UPS processes on a single day would take the USPS a month. Yes, big shippers get a discount. Why do you think Amazon can handle free shipping? Big discount for them. Also, if you were to take the 200 or so packages that the average brown delivers daily , it would take about 4 PO trucks to handle it. Anyway, if the USPS keeps going the way it is, we won't be debating this issue beacuse there won't be a PO left.
