This isn't a shock - it's disappointing to Browns fans - but it's not as if people weren't preparing. The longer it went the more people were saying "0 or 16" because Gordon said he wasn't trying to get a reduced suspension - he was trying to get the entire thing thrown out.
Most (including myself) that thought it might get reduced still assumed you were looking at 6-8 games - but that's not the way they went apparently.
At the end of the day the drug policy is so F'd up beyond belief it isn't even funny - but that's a CBA issue - Gordon still got popped. His own fault.
I don't think he misses TC next year - if he stays clean they'll let him back after the 2014 season - but that's 9 months away from even worrying about.
