With that said, Gordon's ownership was way too high on Thursday tournaments for my liking, he may be well into the 20's or even 30's. I'm fading too but not because I think he will have a bad game, just going with a contrarian pick that may be less owned

Fighting for a playoff spot is thrown out the door for me when you realize that the Falcons are in 1st place in that division now and closer to the playoffs then the Browns are. If your making an argument like that and not including the home team as well then its thrown out the door. It fits both teams and give me the advantage to the home team here since they haven't played at home in over a month. Narrative street says trust the home team between playoff hopefuls and that includes Chicago
As for Gordon not being on a "pitch count" do you have something newer then what the head coach said?
Josh Gordon eager to do whatever the Browns need

"We're going to have him on a pitch count," head coach Mike Pettine said. "There needs to be a progression. The trap to fall into is, 'Hey, he's back and let's just go ahead and throw him out there for a bunch of plays.' There's certainly danger inherent in doing that and we have to be smart with how we do it and have a plan to progress through the week."

I never said that I thought Gordon was going to have a bad game
