The buyer was overseas, so he had to pay EMS shipping on top of the auction amount (guessing $2-$3), so he MAY have paid quite a bit to receive it. That may be why he is asking for that.

Regardless, eBay will cover you. Part of a sellers "buy in" for using EMS is because eBay is protecting us against this very problem.
