I think it could work both ways. Waiting two years before Jac Caglianone’s rookie logo cards come out may have saved you a lot of money as well.

In general, the more at bat’s you have on a rookie, the better investment choices you could make, ie less speculation.

From 2024, I'd say Caminero I'd pay more for now vs. then. Skenes maybe the same, maybe more. But Holliday, Chourio, and Elly I'd say would all command a lesser premium in breaks today than they did a year ago.

He would be the ultimate example, yes.

I consigned a bunch of SGC-graded cards to Fanatics. I also consigned a few through Probstein and sold some directly through eBay. I can say without a doubt that Fanatics is the worst auction site for selling your collection. With a 20% premium to the buyer, you'll never get true auction value with them. Avoid them at all costs. The other thing that bothered me with Fanatics is you have to request your payout. A good site will automatically ACH or mail a check to you.

Agree....there is no need to pay a "buyer's premium" for anything but the scarcest/rarest cards/items.

If you're buying a run-of-the-mill card, just find it on EBay.....

Can Topps release 2025 rookie logo cards in 2027? 2028?

They just released 23-24 Royalty Basketball with Wemby Rookies on
9/25/25 so yeah, they can...

Maybe they should make a 1952 Topps Transcendent Mickey Mantle set

This is exactly right and has been my approach. 20% BP is ridiculous, and the auction prices aren't any cheaper.

Could it have anything to do with being in SGC slabs?
