Default Toploaders VS Card Savers

I was just wondering what the blowout community thought about this. Forgive me if there is already a topic on this, but do you prefer toploaders or card saver cases protecting your cards?

I've always used toploaders and still do, however about 15 years ago a guy that sold cards for a few years (owns a gun shop) tried to tell me that card savers were a lot better protection than toploaders. Aren't the card saver cases really flimsy and have tight grips on cards? I know if you are sending cards off to get graded you put them in these cases but I really haven't seen too many people using them for reasons other than this, although a lot of people with vintage use them because most of those too big for regular toploaders and the vintage ones are harder to come by. I've noticed, especially lately, most toploaders are slightly curved and bent up in the package and I'm afraid putting a card in one will also mis-shape the card over time so I pull out the best ones and throw away the others.

I know a lot of people use magnetics for their higher end cards. I do have some for my collection but very little. I can't stand cards to move in them, it probably doesn't hurt them but it makes me OCD. I can say the best protection there is are the BGS cases, but me personally I don't care for graded cards. Just curious to see if anyone uses card saver cases.

100% Toploader for me.

But I have heard that people ONLY use Card Savers when they send cards to Beckett for grading. Not sure why they do that.

use card savers in my pwe sales. use the larger ones for many of my pc items. since they take up so much less room than top loaders.

I do not like one touches. I have a huge stack of them collecting dust

unless you are going to be playing catch with your cards either way works.

items in top loaders I put in team bags just in case I decide to play catch.

PSA and BGS slabs in an old banker teller drawer/safe combo.

My cards could survive a North Korean high-five.

So they can be cut out easily and not damage cards trying to get them out, too loose, too tight, etc

Toploaders. I'd only use card savers for sending in for grading

Cardsavers when I am submitting.

Magnetics when I am not.

I very rarely use top loaders any longer.

Not a fan of card savers but I have some for use if/when I ever get around to a BGS sub.

Card savers are good for mailing cards in a PWE. But I never use them to store my cards.
