I don't buy many graded books so excuse my ignorance on the topic, but I had a few questions about a CGC graded book I just received.
I am sure there is nothing to this, but there were a few things different from all my other books that made me question the legitimacy. 1. The coloring of the 9.8 is gray and not black. Not sure if that means anything but don't own a book or haven't seen a book where the print isn't black. (Perhaps because it is graded from longer ago?) 2. The actual information is laid out differently on the top than other books of this kind I have seen graded from CGC. 3. The case doesn't feel quite as sturdy as my others either. The back features a holder on the inside that I have not seen. 4. The Spider-man/Deadpool #1 etc. on the top is on the outside of the holder. Most of my others have that inside the case. I am sure it is nothing and just amateur questions on my part, but I figured I'd ask people that could give a better answer than me just guessing. Thanks for any help! This is just the old case design. I have a book graded around the same time with an identical case.

That's actually not that old of a design. The current slab has only been in use for the last 2-3 years. Most of my graded books use this vintage design. I even have a few of the REALLY old RED labels.
