70s better than the 80s... I’m afraid most of those cards you couldn’t give away.. but a few would sell for cheap.. not very much is my answer

As a 70s NmMt set builder, that was my thought, too - looks like the couple of stars are maybe Ex at best, the 76 Ryan maybe a bit better, hard to tell from the scans. There are some mid-grade 70s set builders around so you'll probably get some nibbles if you post as a lot, but I'd be surprised if it ended up being much more than the $50-75 range. Be sure to post better pics to highlight condition if you do put on eBay, though.

If they were mine
- Sell all the bigger names individually PWE - Split the remaining ~4500 into 3 big lots by year; 1976, 1977, & 1978 Could easily exceed 3 figures in profit. Especially since nothing looks to be in god awful condition.

Condition is always key and most seem to be in EX condition. The stars you picked out tend to be off-centered. You may find some rookies mixed in that will help the overall value.
If you find the right buyer who wants to work to sell them themselves you might get $300-$400 for the lot, IMHO. There are people out there who make lower grade sets and lots to sell out of those type lots. Good luck, be well, Vinny

I would go through these cards carefully and see if there are any potential gems there. There could be a few really good cards in good condition in one of those boxes. |

Since from the Ryan it appears you may have at least a portion of the cards in better than EX condition, depending on the centering, I’d take a quick look for some of the bigger RCs, to see if those happen to be in better shape. Sell those individually, and the rest in year lots, as someone suggested. Some of the better RCs:
1978 Topps Eddie Murray 1976 Topps Eckersley 1977 Topps Dawson 1977 Topps Murphy 1978 Topps Molitor/Trammell And if you do have some 79s/80s mixed in, of course Ozzie Smith and Rickey Henderson.

It might be best to just sell it to someone local for $50. That would be a lot of work and high shipping costs to make any type of profit. I do see a 1972 Topps in there, so there could be some ok cards. I would take out the cards in great condition, put them in Penny sleeves to protect them, and sell the rest as a lot locally.

Just take the time to split it up, you'll be surprised on what you will get. Put on a game and sort it out and you'll make a few hundred bucks.

If push comes to shove, list the starting big at $0.99 and watch it go.
I wouldn't do it until the season starts though. Higher demand. |

You could sort by card #, see if you have a full set or if you are close, and sell that way. Here's a site with good info on cards from any year so you can see the checklists, key cards, etc 1976 Topps Baseball Cards https://www.cardboardconnection.com/...seball-cards-2 Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk |

Prices have gone up recently. I’d put up on on Facebook or eBay with a minimum and be sure to accurately calculate shipping cost in ad. I’d put the minimum pretty high and you could always lower it if necessary. If eBay make sure your description includes good description — look at similar lots sold by dealers to make sure your lot is seen in searches. You would make more selling stars separately but that would be a lot of work.

I would say offer for sale at $150 and take any offers around $100 and make the person take them all not pick through them.
