Thought it’d be fun to have an Original Art room here on BO, a complement to the superb OA Aficionado blog. All are welcome to share their collections + wants.
My CAF room, featuring Artgerm, Dell’Otto, Lee, McFarlane, Sienkiewicz, etc.: https://www.comicartfans.com/Gallery...sp?GCat=123916 And to start us off... some Dell’Otto Venom. Details after the link - https://www.comicartfans.com/gallery...?piece=1437452

Appreciate it, ol’ friend!
A McFarlane page for today, from his Incredible Hulk days... but not the usual suspects. : ) https://www.comicartfans.com/gallery...?piece=1477061

Great pieces people have been posting! I tried uploading my collection of sketches based on "The Crow" but ran into some technical issues. I will start out with some of my Batman commissions here by Bruce Timm, Aaron Lopresti, Terry Dodson, Simon Bisley and Nat Jones.

Thanks, some of my Crow pieces aren't uploading for some reason, but here are just a few from my collection from Bill Sienkiewicz, Aaron Lopresti, Ethan Van Sciver, Jae Lee, Michael Golden, Jim Lee, Clayton Crain, and Tony Daniel. I have some others by Tony Moore, David Finch and some by the master himself James O' Barr and others but for some reason I can't get them to upload just yet.

Nice pieces you have there as well. I really did luck out with the Lee one, I was fortunate enough to go to a retailer seminar here in Seattle after the first day of ECCC. My friend owns a comic store and mentioned she didn't want to go so I stepped up. DC was promoting their Rebirth line, Lee was listed as being at the show but only doing one signing and it was via a lottery. So instead I went to the seminar after the first day. Not many retailers were there, when it concluded they catered it with food and Jim started signing for the 30 or so retailers and their employees. I had brought my sketchbook and asked Jim if he could do a Crow sketch. I was expecting a quick side view sketch but he sat down with the sketchbook, grabbed a beer and started drawing. A really nice guy, he did a few other quick sketches and signed for about 30 minutes or so. Very low key event so it was the perfect setting.

I've got some stuff to add- I'll start with my comic pages. I don't really collect the big superhero stuff, I'm into just collecting pages from artists or books that I particularly like.
These two were my first pieces I ever bought- Both are from Josh Howard's "Black Harvest" series- the first is Issue 1 Pg 3, and the second is Issue 3 Pg 8. ![]() This next one is probably my favorite- It's a super oddball book you probably have never heard of. Serenity Rose by Aaron Alexovich. (Issue 4, Pg 4) It's also a little different because instead of traditional comic board this is just done on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper. I really love this book though and was super happy to get a page from it. ![]() This one is just an awesome piece by Collette Turner from the very first issue of her & John's Badassical book. (Issue 1, Pg 13) ![]() My last one is probably the most recognizable page from my collection, as it's a book that's had a very long run. I picked this one up at Boston Comic Con this year from Rob Guillory himself. Great guy, and he threw in a copy of his new comic Farmhand along with it! ![]() I'll try and get some other stuff posted as well. I have a few con sketches as well as some really nice Pillow & Lucky pieces from George Webber. |

I picked up some art in a collection yesterday, but not sure if they are prints or originals. Need to do some research. They are of Steve Canyon and what appears to be a Catwoman sketch of some sort, but I could find no artist signature. I'll post photos next week

Congrats on the Carnage! How long did it take him to draw it?
I saw him draw a Wolverine portrait one time with exquisite detail (while having conversation with someone) in about 10 minutes.

Here's one of these threads that lasted a month in early 2017. It shows a piece or two also in this thread, and a couple of "Preacher" pages I no longer have, but mostly stuff that hasn't made it into this new thread yet.
https://www.blowoutforums.com/showth...ht=swamp+thing I've still have some published 80's Swamp Thing pages, that I thought I'd posted in the above, but apparently did not. I feel like I posted them somewhere though, so there might be another original art necro-thread floating around somewhere out there.
