For those who don't know, Robert Mathis was drafted in the 5th Round of 2003 and his first cards weren’t made until 2005. His only two rookie cards are his 2005 Score and 2005 Topps Total. He has no “rookie year” autographs. His first autographs were made a year later in 2006. I met 34BoJackson16, who does a great job with removing sticker autographs of a player and re-applying them cleanly to a different card of same player. After seeing some of Patrick's work, I was sold. I typically steer clear of stuff like this, but I began thinking about the possibilities of a Mathis rookie card auto. I commissioned Patrick to remove the sticker autograph from one of my spare Mathis autographs and reapply it to one of my spare Mathis Score rookie cards. It arrived today and it looks great! I'm really excited to add this novelty card to my Mathis PC. Thanks again Patrick!

Personally I think this looks incredible. I absolutely love it.
I know some in the community are fundamentally opposed to this kind of stuff and I hope they are at least polite if they choose to say something about it. |

Looks like he did a good job reapplying the sticker. Saw a Harrison last night you might not have: https://www.comc.com/Cards/Football/...rison/15601684

No doubt. This is a novelty item for my PC and I love it. I understand both sides of how the community might look at cards like this. At the end of the day I'm happy and that's all that matters. Thanks!

I actually like this. I have had many cards in my collection that I thought would look with an auto but never came as an auto.
As long as you represent the card for what it is if you ever decide to sell it then I dont see why anyone would have a problem with it. |

While I may not necessarily agree with it, the card is perfect for this auto. I can't lie, It looks really good. I guess you could look at it as an in-person auto. Congrats on the card!

Neither am I. However, as one novelty card for my Mathis PC, I couldn’t be more happier.
