Default Jewcer PSA Results - Showoff Thread

Big thank you to Josh for a very simple submission process. Going 100% PSA 10 on the Acuna cards was a real treat.

Everything is available so toss me a PM if you see something you like.

Apologies for the rushed iPhone images. I can scan anything later today if needed.

I'm betting prodigy did his homework and took the time to look through a stack of cards to pull out these gem mint ones and not so much luck with getting an easy grader.

Recently bought a loupe magnifying glass. It’s amazing how close you can see on these, really makes the decision on whether to send a borderline card in or not. The grader will be doing the same, so it’s well worth it.

Anyone who does this should really be able to get a 80-90% gem rate if you don’t fool yourself into sending cards and HOPING for a favorable grade.

For me it’s desk lamp and several hours set aside for review. That simple. Any rough edges, surface dents, dinged corners, etc get kicked to the side - especially for modern cards. I’m more relaxed on 90s cards including the MJ’s I had graded. Bought those at the National for a few bucks each, and wanted to grade them mainly for protection in my PC. The high grades were a huge bonus especially considering what I paid for them.

Ten 10s from the group I just got back yesterday. Yordan SP, Ja layup image variation, and the Kieboom indy (!) were the ones I was most excited to see as 10s

That's probably one of the best advice anyone can hear when thinking about grading their cards...and the point about HOPING...if you ever catch yourself hoping for a certain grade on a card, that card probably won't get that grade...so you're going against the odds and really playing the lottery if you submit it (but it's your money).
