were in a time where people are looking for a decent rip at a less than 100 dollars. The card world we live in has made it where topps fire is a desirable product. Its an interesting rip at 70 dollars a box. makes sense to me in 2020 a lot more than if it was 2012.

there are some people that would rather get burned on a 70 box of topps fire than a 400 box of bowman. As much as i thoroughly enjoy shelling out money on bowman i will be in for a box or two lol

So bought a hobby box of Topps Fire on Target.com. Thought I was lucky to get a box since the bots get the boxes so fast. Received the box today and it is a blaster. So I contact Target and they refund the purchase and tell me to just keep the box. I think it was a blessing because I opened the blaster and it was just poor. Will use the cards to pad the sets I build. I guess I can use the money for TCU or maybe some blasters of Stadium Club. Has to be better than this stuff.

I actually found 2 of these in store along with a blaster and bought them today. I left about 5 blasters. Took what I wanted and went to the electronics section came back and there was only 1 blaster left.

I think we are going to see huge production increases next year. Or huge price increases. If Topps doesnt, the entire management team should be fired.

Agreed topps could certainly raise it to at least 21.99 msrp which people wouldn't blink at.
I know walmart for some reason was selling at 21.99 vs 19.99 at target and barnes and nobles for the topps chrome blasters.
They could really charge 21.99 which is 2 bucks to the average consumer but cuts into the resale potential and is a 10 percent increase for topps and store which is huge over tens of thousands of blasters for every product

No price increases next year from Topps from what I’ve seen. I think $24.99 makes a lot of sense. They could even throw an extra pack in.

I hope you’re not serious about production increase We’ve already seen a staggering increase in the last 5 years. I hope Topps sees the long game, and understands what happened in the 90’s

Actually I would love to see that. However just in a science experiment way. If Triple Play sold out, then we would know we have truly reached the pinnacle of modern card collecting.
